Time is the most discussed theme in philosophy. There are many books and journal articles has been wrote about it but the strict determination satisfying me still is not known. So I endeavour to give the determination that stems from the theory of 4D matter.
Time is the natural parameter for the line of which the light ray penetrates.
Some illustrations. The natural parameter for the line is the length of the segment. For such natural parametrization the module of the velocity, the absolute value, of the derivative of the radius-vector of the line point along this parameter is constant and the second derivative or acceleration is the curvature.
As for light, it is known that its velocity, the light speed, is constant in the homogeneous medium and according to the geometrical optics it penetrates along the straight line which has null curvature.
Thus the usual time measured in hours and seconds is distinguished from the one proposed above only by the constant factor. The one second is corresponded to the path of the 300 000 km gone by the light.
The natural determination of light through the path gone by the light obviously contradicts with the theory of relativity where the mechanical joint structure of the space and time used. The line in the 3D space can not form 4D space-time. It is absurd. It is the same as tell that the line on the 2D plane forms 3D space.
